First check if all cables are connected correctly, are not damaged and all components including network switches are powered.
With the latest software for OnRobot FT Sensors, you may experience unexpected timeouts that result in the FT sensor not appearing as an option on the Mirai Training app. To resolve, the steps below will guide you through the process of adjusting the OnRobot FT Sensor RTDE Timeout settings.
To change the sensor switch-off time:
Step 1:
With the Compute box powered OFF, connect the ethernet cable from the Compute Box to your computer. If using a PC without an ethernet port (or a Mac), you will need an ethernet compatible adapter to continue.
Step 2:
Power the Compute Box with the supplied power supply. Wait one minute for the Compute Box LED to turn from blue to green.
Step 3:
Open a web browser on your computer and type in the IP address of the Compute Box
MIRAI-sets the address to 192.168.100.15
If you are asked to use an admin login: try the default combination
Username: admin (all lowercase)
Password: OnRobot
Alternative Password: OnRobotFT
Step 4:
From the OnRobot WebClient, Select the Sensor tile from the landing page.
(If you only see the Compute box tile, make sure your Sensor cable is securely connected to the compute box and the device.)
Step 5:
On the next page, scroll down to "Power off HEX" at the bottom.
From the dropdown menu you will see options 1, 4, 8, 16, 24, and NEVER (may need to scroll down to see the last option). Select NEVER to disable the timeout feature entirely.
