In order to use MIRAI follow the steps below on the FANUC Tablet TP. The required files are found on
the included USB drive.
Please make sure that the files are NOT in any folder or subfolder on the USB drive.
1. Execute: SETUP.CM
2. Load the program: MIRAIEXECUTE.TP
Ensure that the FANUC robot controller system software has the version V9.4 or later installed.
Executing SETUP.CM
Disclaimer: Position Registers (PRs) #1, 2, 3 and Registers #1 - 7 are needed for the MIRAI programs. When executing the SETUP.CM file all registers mentioned above will be overwritten automatically.
- Step 1. Insert the USB drive in the FANUC controller port.
- Step 2. Tap on the [MENU] button.
- Step 3. Choose [FILE].
- Step 4. Make sure that you are in the directory [UD1:\*.*], select all files and tap [ENTER]. If you are not in the directory [UD1:\*.*], tap on [UTIL] , Select [1 Set Device] and select [6 USB Disk (UD1:)] from the list.
Step 5. Select the file [SETUP].
- Step 6. Tap on [ENTER].
- Step 7. Tap on [YES] when the question Execute SETUP.CM? is displayed.
Loading MIRAIEXECUTE
- Step 1. Tap on the [MENU]
- Step 2. Choose [FILE].
- Step 3. Make sure that you are in the directory [UD1:\*.*], select all files and tap [ENTER]. If you are not in the directory [UD1:\*.*], tap on [UTIL] , Select [1Set Device] and select [6 USB Disk (UD1:)] from the list.
- Step 4. Select the file [MIRAIEXECUTE].
- Step 5. Tap on [LOAD].
Step 6. Tap on [YES] when the question Load MIRAIEXECUTE? is displayed.
