This general error message may appear unexpectedly while recording episodes for a Mirai skill. The frequency of this message is intermittent and may also result in recording loss of the immediately recorded episode (if you were not given the option to save/discard). Although the cause is still unknown, we have developed a fix for this problem in the software version 11.0.0 - Lili.
Since there may be several causes, we recommend the following less invasive troubleshooting steps before upgrading. To resolve the issue, first proceed as follows:
- Check whether the safety stop of the UR robot has activated and release the UR again if necessary.
- Restart all system components (robot, Mirai controller, and tablet/app).
- Check all cable connections for damage.
- If the problem persists, you may be using a MIRAI training app version that is not compatible with the MIRAI Control Box. Please check this article: Which MIRAI version fits which MIRAI training app?
If the problem could not be solved, please contact Customer Support to continue with a software upgrade of your system to 11.0.0.
