ATI Industrial Automation Force Torque Sensors need to be configured for the MIRAI system before they can be successfully integrated. The steps below outline the required settings for your ATI FT sensor using your computer. Some of the steps outlined here are provided directly from the ATI quick start guide. For more info click here: ATI Network Force/Torque Sensor System Quick Start Guide
For OnRobot Sensors, please follow the separate instructions provided in the Micropsi Support Center at Configuring the OnRobot Compute Box.
If you are using a NET BOX with your sensor - please see the instructions for Configuring Your ATI Net box before you continue.
Double-Check the Installation and Cabling
The 9105-C-ZC22-ZC28-4 cable has a 6-pin connection on one end that attaches to the sensor and an 8-pin connector on the other end that attaches to the 9105-C-ZC28-U-RJ45S-X cable which splits into the following (2) branches: an unterminated end for power (connects V+ and V-) and a RJ45 connection for Ethernet (connects to the MIRAI Switch).
Branch 1 Branch 2
Step 1
Once you have confirmed your installation and cabling. Take the RJ45 cable from the MIRAI Switch and connect this to an ethernet port on your PC.
Note: If using a PC without an ethernet port (or a mac), you will need an ethernet adapter to continue.
Step 2
Open a web browser on your PC and use the following IP address as a URL http://192.168.1.1
Step 3
If done correctly, you will arrive at the Access ATI web server landing page. From the left side menu, click on the "Communications" tab.
Step 4
Make sure the IP Address Mode is set to "Static IP" then change the IP Address to 192.168.100.20
Then hit "Apply" to save changes.
Step 5
Power Cycle the Sensor and reconnect the ethernet cable to the MIRAI Switch.
