Camera Lens Overview:
To Resolve:
First, make sure that the camera lens is clean. (Note: only a lint-free microfiber cloth should be used on lens.) If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to adjust the physical aperture on the lens of the camera.
IMPORTANT: Changes to the camera's aperture will impact all existing skills. Existing skills may become unusable!
Before making any changes, take note of the exact position of the aperture (It may be helpful to use tape or a marker). Keep in mind that even when marking the position exactly, adjustments made by-hand do not have guaranteed precision and may not result in an identical match. If you are trying to return to previous adjustments, you may experience some inconsistency for existing skills. Luckily, once the camera lens is adjusted, you should not need to make changes in the future. In other words, these steps should be a last resort if troubleshooting an image quality issue in the future.
When changes are complete, be sure to firmly tighten the thumb screws along the lens rings and take note of the changed positions.
When complete, check the camera setting by creating a new skill from the Mirai Training App. Navigate through the steps until you reach the "Camera Settings - Step 3/4" Screen. From here can confirm the image quality using any object in the field of view of the camera and at the expected height and relative position you will be starting for your skill. This will give you the best reference to adjust the "Gain" and "Exposure" settings. Make sure to click "Apply settings" each time you move the slider bars to preview the changes.
