Robot-Side Installation:
If you are using a Micropsi “Adjustable Camera Mount Kit,” make sure this is installed first in the hardware stack. The camera mount adapter should sit directly on the robot arm. Next will go the ATI Adapter plate (part number: 2126)
If Using a Micropsi Adjustable Camera Mount Kit:
Install (x4) M6 x 30 screws up into the ATI adapter plate from the bottom, securing the ATI adapter to the adjustable camera mount adapter.
Other - Not using a Micropsi Adjustable Camera Mount Kit:
Install (x4) M6 x 10 screws up into the ATI adapter plate from the bottom, securing the ATI adapter directly to the robot flange.
Sensor Installation:
Attach the sensor. (The dowel pins will only fit a specific origination). If you find the pieces are not fitting, try flipping the sensor over to the other side. The label should not be upside-down if installed correctly.
There are (x6) M4 x 12 screws that will be installed down from the top of the adapter plate. When securing these screws, you may need to remove any adjustable camera mount arms if they are in the way. We highly recommend using ball end hex keys for this step if using an adjustable camera mount kit.
Tool-Side Installation:
Align the dowel-pins on the Tool Side Adapter plate (part number: 2191) to secure in place, then install (x6) M4 x 12 screws up into the sensor to complete installation.
